The “GREEK SOCIETY OF EXPERIMENTAL MECHANICS OF MATERIALS” was founded in 2016 in Athens, Greece.

The Society was founded by scientists of various academic fields who have a common interest in the Experimental Mechanics of Materials.

The “GREEK SOCIETY OF EXPERIMENTAL MECHANICS OF MATERIALS” is a member of the European Structural Integrity Society - ESIS.
